  Visited for a friend's leaving party. American themed food buffet style. Exquisite small finger food. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Equipped with external bowling alley and beer garden. In the evening so didn't have a chance to enjoy the weather. It looks like a suntrap. Would definitely visit again. Drinks are a reasonable price too.

  Me and my motorcycling mate had a fantastic ride down from London last Sunday. ..but the roast dinner with a great varied selection of vegetables was absolutely sumptuous and appreciated. ..great service friendly and welcoming from staff throughout. ..the sun was out so we enjoyed lunch all the more so outside. ...this is a great local and enjoyable place to come and frequent....popular with families and friends. ....

  The Rising Sun is a very nice bright yet cosy local pub minutes from the beach. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. Good quality with decent portions and sensible prices. There is a good selection of drinks, including draft ales. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. Booking is recommended as it was nicely busy throughout the lunch service.

  It is OK. Very limited fried up menu. I had scampi and chips with a nice salad but so little choice unless you wanted a burger or a pie. Nothing light and fresh.
